Teaches self-improvement to family members and demonstrates that progress is not achieved through criticizing or condemning the alcoholic, and suggests constructive ways of dealing with someone`s alcoholic behavior. Provides comprehensive care including individual, group and family counseling from Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselors (CADC). Treats all aspects of the disease of addiction: physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual. Offers post-graduation support through a transitional program that provides affordable housing and continuing care, weekly group counseling sessions, and an active alumni association and helps women achieve long-term recovery and new, productive lives free of addictions as sober, full-time employed individuals.

Strength Based Family Treatment is a 6-month intensive community-based program which offers inhome counseling, intensive case management, concrete services (i.e., food, transportation), parenting education, structured recreation, outreach, advocacy, 24-hour crisis intervention, psychiatric assessments/medication monitoring, and drug/ alcohol education/ prevention.
