The program provides prevention, intervention, and treatment services. HDAP operates the Hunterdon County Intoxicated Driver Resource Center. HDAP is the county-designated lead agency for Prevention Services. Prevention/education programming is available for schools, business and industry, service organizations, and other interested groups. Early Intervention Services are available through education, counseling, alternative programming, and other services for youth and adults who are at risk of involvement with drugs and alcohol. Treatment includes outpatient individual, group, and family counseling. Referral and aftercare services are also provided. Groups include 16-week Alcohol/Drug Education for IDRC and other referrals, Early Recovery/Relapse Prevention and Co-dependency. Intensive Outpatient Services are available as well as substance abuse evaluations, urine monitoring, and testing services. HDAP is a New Jersey Department of Health licensed outpatient treatment facility. Staff includes licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), licensed professional counselors (LPC) and certified alcohol and other drug counselors (CADC). HDAP serves as Lead Agency for Pre-Treatment Screening for County Indigent Funds. HDAP offers outpatient and days and evening intensive outpatient substance abuse services.
